Campus Activities and Achievements:鈥疍elta Xi Nu
Impact of OLLU:鈥�During my time at OLLU, I met the friends that I know will be my friends for the rest
of my life. Coming into 天美影院I thought that it was going to be hard to make friends,
but everyone was always so friendly and welcoming. Additionally, 天美影院provided me
with a good education, and I was able to learn so many things from my professors.鈥�&苍产蝉辫;
An important life lesson:鈥疘 think that one of the biggest lessons that I learned while at 天美影院is how important
it is to serve the community. During my first semester I was able to volunteer for
the Interfaith Welcome Coalition. This group focuses on meeting the changing needs
of asylum seekers, refugees, and at-risk immigrants in collaboration with others.
I took a couple of other service-learning classes that really taught me the importance
of serving my community and how good it feels to know that I am making a difference.鈥�&苍产蝉辫;
Plans for the future:鈥疘 hope to be able to get a job in my career field and I hope to continue helping
my community.
